The Neponset Choral Society presents our Winter 2000 Concert Vivaldi's Gloria in D, #588 The first concert of our 52nd season will be held on December 9th at 8pm and the 10th at 3:00 pm, as the Neponset Choral Society presents a collection of Christmas music, featuring Antonio Vivaldi's Gloria in D, #588. Vivaldi wrote two Gloria's, 588 and 589, and most performances are of 589. They are completely different, except for the last movement, which they share. This concert will include professional orchestra by the Bristol Chamber Orchestra and the handbell choir from St. Mark's Church in Foxboro, complementing the 60 voice chorus. The concert will be conducted by guest conductor Bill Pappazisis. For ticket information, please contact the Orpheum Foxborough. Box office hours are Tue/Thu 12-7, Wed/Fri 12-4, Sat 10-4, Sun 12-3, and the night of the show until curtain time.
