The Lighter Side of NCS - 50 Years of Performing Popular Music and Shows

The final concert of Neponset Choral Society's 50th season will be a Pops Concert held on June 4 and 5, 1999 at 8pm. To mark the end of our 50th anniversary year, this Pops Concert will feature selections from the the Gilbert & Sullivan and Broadway shows which NCS has performed since its inception in 1949. Some of the G&S shows from which music will be performed are "HMS Pinafore", "Pirates of Penzance", and "The Mikado", to name a few. Broadway show tunes will be heard from "Fiddler on the Roof", "Music Man", "Carousel", "Les Miserables", "Phantom of the Opera", and many more.
